Lamp Buddy is my first lamp design: a warm, modern companion made for people who love clean contemporary objects but crave a little more character in their space. Inspired by the modern art and architecture of CDMX, this piece takes the crisp language of minimal design and softens it with rounded cubes, gentle diffusion, and a pair of cheerful little feet that turn the lamp into something more than just an object... It becomes a buddy!

Modern minimalism often leans cold, clean, and serious... but I’ve always felt design can be simple and joyful. Lamp Buddy is my attempt to blend contemporary form with a bit of warmth and charm. The small feet were the first detail I sketched; they turned the lamp from an object into a tiny companion. My hope is that Lamp Buddy brings a moment of delight to your day each time you switch it on.
